Rooted between Brazil and the Netherlands, Johanneke moves effortlessly across cultures and disciplines. Graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven (2010), she began her career at Jongeriuslab, where she embraced a research-based design ethos that fuses craft, culture, and material innovation.
Her path led to the Middle East, where she gave creative workshops with Art Start in a refugee camp and studied ceramics at the Benyamini School of Ceramic Art. Upon returning to the Netherlands, she joined fashion brand Oilily as an in-house product designer.

Today, Johanneke works independently as a multidisciplinary designer, merging product and graphic design with styling, illustration and photography. Her work is guided by a clear aesthetic: minimal yet tactile, intuitive yet conceptual.
Every project begins with a story — distilled to its essence — and unfolds into designs that feel timeless, honest, and quietly refined. Collaborating with brands in fashion, well-being, interior, and lifestyle, Johanneke creates visual narratives that connect heart and form.
